WELCOME ADDRESS

Research Institute of Cardiology and Internal Diseases, together with Qazaq College of Rheumatology (QCR), and the Asia Pacific League of Associations for Rheumatology (APLAR) are honored to welcome participants and distinguished guests to the APLAR-QCR 2026 Summit & 9th Congress of Rheumatologists of Kazakhstan, which will be held on the 14-16th of May 2026 in Almaty.

This Summit serves as a premier platform, uniting emerging researchers and clinicians, multidisciplinary specialists, and world-class experts from Kazakhstan, the Eurasian community, and the Asia-Pacific region. Our scientific program is precisely designed to facilitate the exchange of cutting-edge knowledge, bridge the gap between research and clinical practice, and foster international professional synergy.

Clinical and leadership competencies of APLAR Young Rheumatologists is the key highlight of the Summit, which will give a great impetus to the development of rheumatology in the region. This high-level Summit is a collaborative initiative by Qazaq College of Rheumatology (QCR) and the Scientific Research Institute of Cardiology and Internal Diseases, organized in partnership with APLAR Young Rheumatologists (AYR) and supported by the Asia-Pacific League of Associations for Rheumatology (APLAR).

Specialists from Philippine, Japan, UAE, India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Thailand, Uzbekistan, Belarus, Singapore, Nepal, Azerbaijan, Great Britain, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Kazakhstan are scheduled to present, which is of particular importance for this vital event. Leadership and future plans in the Asia-Pacific region will be discussed to lay the foundation for APLAR Сongress planned in 2029 in Kazakhstan. Furthermore, we are proud to host the Young Scientists Competition (for researchers under 45), that offers participants a unique opportunity to showcase their work and earn a prestigious APLAR Certificate.

We wish all participants a highly productive meeting, inspiring discussions, and significant professional breakthroughs dedicated to our ultimate goal - improving the lives of our patients.
